Cultural Retreat 2010
AHSABC held its annual cultural retreat and 15th Year Celebration on May 3-5, 2010. The gathering took place at Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge on Quadra Island, a truly magical retreat in the spectacular surroundings of Cape Mudge. Participants shared stories and photos of how their Head Start program has impacted families over the past 15 years. We also enjoyed performances by two traditional dance groups (including children), nature walks and playing 'lehal' on the beach.

Cultural Retreat 2009
AHSABC held its 2009 annual cultural retreat May 27-29, 2009 in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island at the Quw'utsun Culture and Conference Centre. Program Coordinators and Parent Representatives attended from all of the AHS programs in BC. 

Cultural Retreat 2008
AHSABC held its 2008 annual cultural retreat May 20-22, 2008 in White Rock at the Ocean Promenade Hotel. We had over 40 participants attend, including Program Coordinators, Parents and Program Elders. 

Cultural Retreat 2007
AHSABC held its 2007 annual cultural retreat May 22-24th, 2007 at the King Fisher Spa and Resort in Courtenay. We had 90 participants attend the cultural capacity building component of our retreat and 125 guests at our Cultural Retreat Feast on the evening of May 23rd.
